Mini-AHRS from Senlution provides real-time attitude data and other auxiliary functions to automotive ECU (Electronic Control Unit). The system outputs 3D attitude information (pitch, roll, yaw), air pressure & temperature and also streamed data of acceleration, angular rate and magnetic field vectors. Flexible data protocols are available, including the widely used CAN, so that the customer may obtain data readily from existing CAN bus already inside a car.
Currently in automotive electronics, mostly used inertia measurement solutions are single sensors or a simple cluster of several sensors. In the future, however, Mini-AHRS will play an unprecedented role in various automotive electronics applications, including dead reckoning; roll-over protection; hill start assistance; ECS and more.
